Germán and Francesca opened La Sirena, Todos
Santos' first Eco~Adventure company, in 2003. Their vision was to offer low-impact activities to tourists while
offering alternative jobs to fishermen and other local citizens. In 2006, La Sirena expanded to include Eco~Casita
rentals, Whale Watching and Sea Turtle conservation activities. Then, in 2010 Germán and Francesca, along with the
Cota family, founded Tortugueros Las Playitas A.C., a non-profit environmental conservation organization.
Today, La Sirena Eco~Adventures has become an International gathering
place for people with common values. Sea Turtle conservation volunteers fill the casitas throughout the nesting and
hatching season. German and Francesca's guest-list includes tourists from Italy, Spain, Germany, Venezuela, Belize,
England, Canada and the United States.
What do all of these folks have in common? The majority are looking to experience nature, wildlife
and recreation, in a beautiful tropical paradise, while promoting a sustenable business and way of life. La
Sirena's low impact tours, and Eco~Casitas now sponsor the Sea Turtle conservation project through use of their ATV, Biologist
housing and Volunteer managment.
