Germán and Francesca opened La Sirena, Todos
Santos' first Eco~Adventure company, in 2003. Their vision was to offer low-impact activities to tourists while
offering alternative jobs to fishermen and other local citizens to encourage conservation of the beautiful yet fragile
Baja peninsula. Germán and Francesca, along with the Cota family, and biologist Roberto Rodriguez are the founders
of Tortugueros Las Playitas A.C., a local non-profit environmental conservation organization.
Tortugueros Las Playitas and La Sirena Eco~Adventures has brought together Environmental Conservation
with Eco Tourism in Todos Santos. Sea Turtle conservation volunteers fill their casitas throughout the nesting and hatching
season. The International guest-list includes tourists from Mexico, Italy, Spain, Germany, Amsterdam, Venezuela,
Belize, England, Australia, Russia, Canada and the United States.
The majority of guests are looking to experience nature, wildlife and recreation, in
a beautiful tropical paradise, while supporting a sustenable business
that is active in conservation. The jobs provided to local fishermen in eco tourism help sustain Baja's fisheries and empower local families to protect their
coastline.
Germán and Francesca invite you to experience
the warmth of Mexican hospitality at La Sirena in Todos Santos. Please contact them at La Sirena for information and reservations.
